SURVIVAL OF THE DIRTIEST
At DIRTBAGS, we train athletes who are more than just baseball players; they are committed, self-driven, and purposeful in everything they do. Our athletes embrace growth with relentless focus, understanding that failure isn’t a setback, but a step forward. Greatness isn’t the goal, it’s the obsession.
THE DIRTBAG WAY
Unlike one-size-fits-all training, our approach acknowledges that every athlete develops differently. It combines best practices from leading baseball performance philosophies—movement science, skill acquisition research, and performance psychology—into a streamlined approach that emphasizes growth, repeatability, and game-day confidence.
Every drill, every rep, every session is designed with purpose. Athletes receive high-level instruction focused on mechanics, movement, and decision-making that translates directly to competition.
OFFENSIVE PERFORMANCE TRAINING
Our offensive approach and training analyze your current swing and refines your sequencing to enhance EV, Launch Angle, Bat Speed, and Approach. We identify energy leaks and inefficiencies to provide personal recommendations to improve your direction, space, adjustability, and force transmission to become more consistent at the plate. In addition, we tackle one of these most challenging questions at the dish - who am I as a hitter, what is my purpose in this lineup, and owning my identity.

THROWING & PITCHING PERFORMANCE TRAINING
Our pitching performance program evaluates your throwing movement patterns from arm path, stress points, utilizing your lower have and the sequencing to provide optimal velocity potential and growth as well as consistency in targeting pitches. We provide individualized insights on developing your most consistent delivery while minimizing injury risk to help you grow into a more effective and efficient pitcher.

DEFENSIVE PERFORMANCE TRAINING
Our defensive performance program evaluates each athlete’s movement efficiency, glove work, footwork, and throwing transitions to develop reliable, game-ready defenders at every position. We analyze body positioning, first-step explosiveness, angles to the baseball, and sequencing from fielding to release to maximize range, consistency, and accuracy while minimizing unnecessary stress on the arm and body.
Athletes receive focused instruction tailored to their primary and secondary positions, focusing on repeatable mechanics, clean transfers, and confident decision-making under game speed. Our goal is to build defenders who are instinctive, efficient, and dependable in any situation.
Defensive Motion & Movement Design
Fielding mechanics and posture through the baseball
Efficient glove-to-hand transfers
Footwork patterns for infield, outfield, and catch-and-throw scenarios
Reaction time, range, and throwing effectiveness
Position-Specific Defensive Development
Infield: angles, first-step quickness, double-play feeds, arm-slot efficiency
Outfield: routes, tracking, crow-hop mechanics, accuracy on throws
Catchers (if applicable): receiving, blocking, footwork, and throw-down efficiency
This comprehensive approach ensures each athlete develops the tools, instincts, and confidence needed to impact the game defensively at a high level—every pitch, every play, every inning.
POST TRAINING ANALYSIS
With strong movement patterns in place, performance is the primary the focus. The lab is just our place to test and discover your best version. We also provide support via 20-minute teleconference meetings to understand how your player is taking their information and insights and applying them to where it matters most, when the lights turn on.
